IT could be but not getting the following, like the video was more cheesy then a few others that I have seen.

At least the first donor option has a big number.. but that also give the nice Limited edition feel a not so limited feel.

Holy F.... Non-Kickstarter but Kickstarter/Greenlight'esk

If you liked Wing Commander, Descent: Freespace, Privateer and Freelancer, but running on Cry Engine 3, it looks amazing.

http://player.vimeo.com/video/51129845" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Watch in HD.

Two games but same universe, The first is Star Citizen, which is a multiplayer universe that is promised to be ever-expanding. Players will be able to follow different paths be it military or merchant, with encouragement for exploring, fighting or trading. The second title will effectively be an offline mode called Squadron 42, which will involve single or coop play through a branching campaign similar to Wing Commander.

All ready been in Dev for a year before public release

Cool Idea, It'd want to be cheap though. They promote it as a lightweight easy to transport/easy to setup system. I dunno, that wheel mechanism looks bigger than any part I have seen on a bearing or friction slider setup. I just bought myself a Konova 1.2m slider which I should be seeing any day now. And I am stoked with the thought of that after using home made wheel systems for a while. I just cant imagine you'd get a huge success rate with smooth shots. And uneven surfaces would cause more hassle, the inflatable part would move around as the weight of the camera slides along.

Also the Air "matress" would prove a pain in the ass if you are doing a mobile shoot. I treck through forests when I go on shoots, a big inflatable bit of rubber would be a pain in the ass, more so than the inflatable bit of rubber I normally take in the woods.

If he's going entry level, like around the $100-$150 mark he just might do quite well however.

kudos for the innovation though. such a simple idea.

MS Paint Adventures is a website and collection of creative works by Andrew Hussie.
Homestuck is one of them started in 2009, I started reading it in 2010 and now it is over 7000 pages long and quite a fan base.

It is down atm due to the storms in the USA, but when it comes up it is a good read.
