Yeah, it's about KSP. But this is so awesome I can't not post it.

So while you don't have to be a rocket scientist, a good amount of engineering skill can help to make wonderful things!

Now with sound!

But it can get even more awesome if you check the full video

Hehe.

I hope you won't regret it like Norbs.

You need to know that this level what this chap is displaying here is way above even the 'expert user'. This is the work of an engineer in my opinion. (either trained or untrained)

Oh, to avoid much frustration I strongly recommend playing the game in Career Mode. You can do sandbox, but it will be overwhelming, no ifs no buts. I'm not sure if Norbs have done that, actually.

Love building F off rockets that have no chance of making it to orbit!

My first ever YouTube upload was this thing.

Wish I had the patience and time to build beasts like this!

That is quite cool :)
Struts & fins are what's missing.

Look into asparagus staging, later, that'll start you thinking. But that's when you get liquid fuel stuff.

I love that you guys can get into it. I just dont have the brain space for such a complex game. :)

One time I got a landing module to the Mun (in-game moon) and stuffed up the time acceleration, crashing into the surface at 15x speed.

My best highlight is when one cosmonaut got bitch slapped off his craft due to an on-board stabilizer kicking in due to me opening a solar battery charger half-way into a spacewalk.
He spun into the inky blackness before his jet-pack ran low on fuel.
Quickly, another craft of almost the same design took off and carried a module to carry the first cosmonaut home.
The second craft came within view of the space walker before falling quickly out of range, then I realised that the rescue craft was falling into the atmosphere.

Quickly, the emergency counter measures were applied (Full thrust, parachutes, aim away from the ground) and it worked, slowing the craft down, opening the parachutes safely.
Until the parachutes unfurled and the force ripped the craft in half, sort of...

The only part that fell off was a wing, and the command module.
The empty rescue module safely returned to earth as the main module, with a lone Kerbal inside, slammed into the ground at Mach 1.

Then, back in space, the spacewalker's jetpack fuel was emptied as an attempt was made to get him out of orbit, this would kill him, but anything was worth trying.
He fell for ages and hit the ground at 300m/s, bouncing once, up to 400m in the air, before landing on the ground.

He survived.

The guy fell from orbit and walked it off.

I don't do space programs much anymore.

Hehe.
I've had shenanigans but my kerbals have burned up on re-entry.
It must have been an older version for you, Bails.

Having said that, you can still create fun configs.

Eg when the boosters overlap slightly with your winglets, so upon decoupling, said wings tear off with a neat blast, and I'm left with a naked craft that can't be steered in the atmosphere.

Or when after hours of work, getting a craft around Gilly (it's a moon around another planet: 'Eve') I've realised I had no attitude controls whatsoever on the last stage. Now I was facing a task of getting the craft into a specific orbit just on a single gimballed engine and limited fuel...and I've managed it somehow! :)
