So some Dickhead stole my phone today. I left on the cafe table when I picked up my coffee and headed for the car. Realising I had left it in the cafe, I raced back to get it. But it wa gone. I rang it but it was off, helpful dude checked security footage but I was on a blind spot. Much angst later, phone calls aplenty I went back to the car and realised the reason I couldn't find it was because I was sitting on it.

I left my phone in a pub once, 20m down the road I realised and ran back to where I was sitting, gone. I used a mates phone to ring it, someone answered it 'hello?' me 'hi I think you have my phone' their reply 'yep, but it's mine now, cheers!' then they hung up, I was somewhat angered.

this weekend just gone was the national titles for 1/10th RC Racing, on thursday while watering the track (we do that to help the clay groove up with rubber and not get massive holes in it) i slipped and fractured my wrist. right before the biggest event in Australia... awesome.

went to hospital, they thought i was drug seeking, had xrays and they couldnt see a fracture, so sent me home. Called me later to tell me the specialist found the fracture and I need to come back for a cast immediatly. I went in today, after the event.

I nominate myself...

Managed to do this to my Nexus 6P yesterday.

Was working in my shed with some tunes playing on the phone. Jake comes in whinging that he didnt get his fair share of chips for the 3rd time...
Not paying attention to my surroundings and reminding him that he was asked if he wanted chips whilst playing Minecraft and said no, I put my hammer down and clipped the edge of the phone in its case.

Sucker bled out! I hooked it up to the Chromecast so I could see what was being displayed as the screen slowly turned black. Got all my photos uploaded as my USB C to A cable was at work and it quickly dawned that in the morning the phone would be un useable...

New screen goes in tomorrow at $240.

but.. wow! i have never seen a screen go like that. and i have cracked my fair share (sadly).
