AAL Website dead?

Post by Doso »

did the AAL website get taken down?

http://www.australasianleague.com/home.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Seems a shame as a bit of history is gone :( I'm more than happy to chip in some $$$ if it means we can keep some of Australian LFS history up and running

Yeah, same.
Lets wait and see Pixel says.

But I'd like to keep it running.

Yeah seems it's gone.. It was hosted and built on the CMS from a job I left 3 years ago.

The CMS is quite expensive and the site won't work without it..

Sorry boys.. It should live on in the wayback machine..

+1 for dollars towards either a tribute or the old site online. Depends on how many bob we are talking when you say the CMS is expensive I spose :melt:

Yeah it was sunday night hot lapping for the weekday race which was a Wed?

Still the best game i've played for online fun, the series were always tight and fun whatever division you raced in.

Anyone remember the 12 hour race on the Sunday?

I too am happy to chip in some cash to revive it if at all possible. I really had alot of fun through the years the AAL was around. I still quite often remember back to all those great (some shit) times :)

:-(

It's not possible to just get the homepage and results page copied and stick a static version on the Web?

It looks like the domain registration lapsed. If someone is able to provide the site data (whether that be a cpanel login or just the files and database) i can rehost it elsewhere.
It's been nice, chaps.
