I've copied half the data folders to my SSD. I think I'll do the rest before I install it again. The ones that had copied over extracted in about 2 minutes....

DVD is lame.

After I installed the new drivers my sound completely disappeared. Rebooted and all is well again. Having tonnes of fun with this. Looking forward to some days off and i'll finish the story in no time.

Bit annoyed to see the console versions are like $50 and the pc is more expensive:( That should never happen.

I was about to go to bed at 11:30 but I noticed the update had finished......."I'll just have a quick look"... Rolled into bed about 1:45. :fall:

The detail in the city is just incredible. They really know how to create an amazing atmosphere and first person mode with keyboard and mouse is unreal. It runs very well on my machine, very pleased.

The rubbish and random animals like cats are a great touch. Pretty much got it all maxed out and its running smooth as, ill have to pick up a controller for driving around as ive never liked key press steering and throttle application.

I can see loosing a lot of hours playing this one all over again.

Picked it up for $38 AUD from a Brazilian store using the Hola extension.

It's not the Steam version. I can live with that though.

Playing the mission where you use Chop to chase down the bloke they kidnap, watched a cat cross the tracks and get wiped out by a train. Laughed for a couple of minutes.

Nice R8.

Added your friend request mate. Do we have an A.R.S.E crew setup?

I had $50 sitting on an EB gift card so I picked this up today. Copied across all of the discs to my PC (one of the benefits of having an old PC is I actually have TWO optical drives!) and installed. Now it's been updating for the past 2 and a half hours and it's only half way there.

So... dumb question time - is there any censorship mode or any mod to cut out some of the language? I've actually bought it just for the open world aspect. A first person game where you get to drive around a city doing whatever you like is really my son's dream game but obviously I don't want to expose him to the worst the game has to offer.

Oh geez Exar... "This is not the game you are looking for".

I reckon if they could make it make sense, even the animals in the game would swear. It's 18+ classification, I doubt there's a censor button. I could be wrong.

Ill never forget showing Rebecca GTA a few years back and deliberately trying to not do anything questionable as I was explaining how cool the city was.

Then someone on the side walk pipes up with "Cheesy vagina's"

There seem to be a few under that name. None with user names I recognise.

Did a search for "AR5E"

None of them stood out as the ARSE Crew
