Anyone played the new one. Watched a couple of YouTubes and it looks ok. certainly captured the feel of the original.

Looks good. The old one would scare the crap out of me at times and so will this I'm sure. So glad we still have a chainsaw! :yummy:

I'm quite enjoying it at the moment. Keeps the essence of the original and brings it bang up to date. And there's blood..... lots and lots of blood :D

I'm pretty keen on it but will wait for the taxman. Hopefully there's still some mutiplayer action happening then.

Anyone know what the co-op options are? Hard to find solid information. Seems like you can only control demons to help another player or something?

Wolfenstein was 2 discs from memory. Then I remember Doom 2 and The Ultimate Doom on new fangled CD-ROM, fark brilliant games they were.

Barely play any these days but I'll get to this eventually.

Those old floppy disks were pretty sturdy, unless you left them in the sun or around magnetic stuff...but getting a drive & connecting it to anything might be a tad tricky.

Original + Brutal Doom mod among others make it enjoyable, still play it at least once a month.

As for the new one, got it in about 3ish hours.
Some play it safe on the merry-go-round, others go for the thrills of the roller-coaster.
