X-Plane 11

Post by Duke »

X-Plane11 Due For Release Before End Of Year!
The future of flight simulation is now. And it’s coming this holiday season.
X-Plane 11 is the detailed, realistic, and modern simulator you’ve been waiting for.

New in X-Plane 11
A completely redesigned, intuitive user interface that makes setting up and editing your flight a breeze.
Consistently usable 3-D cockpits and stunningly high-resolution exterior models for all included aircraft.
A new effects engine for lighting, sounds, and explosions.
Realistic avionics: all planes are IFR-ready right out of the gate.
Busy, “living” airports with pushback tugs and roaming fuel trucks, able to service both your aircraft and the simulator’s AI planes.
New buildings & roads to better simulate European cities
…and more

nice

Well we can try the demo now, but beware it's not optimised so your experience may be varied (expect low FPS). ;)
The X-Plane 11 beta is available now! With a brand new user interface, and a new level of quality in the included aircraft, X-Plane 11 is the upgrade you’ve been hoping for.

Try the Free Demo
or
Buy It

Note: X-Plane 11 is currently undergoing public beta testing. This gives users access to an early preview release aimed at finding and fixing bugs in the software prior to the “final” release. Because of the high probability of encountering bugs in the beta, all purchases at this time also include access to the X-Plane 10 digital download as well.

No not natively & not at release but it may come later.
We've not forgotten about VR. We're still looking at it for the future, but we don't have a timeline at this point.
But there is this little program that does it now, it also works in FSX, FSX:SE, P3D & XP10 ;)

FlyInside 1.71 adds support for X-Plane 11, HDR in X-Plane, and improves performance.
