I hope it's true. Next gen Red Dead would be pretty damn fun.

It is one of a very few select games that I would say was worth purchasing a console for.

Tbh even if it comes to PC it'll be consolitis fest.

I've played it, and it was good, but still not worth buying a console for. It had a great atmosphere. But to spend the price of 20 games to play one or two...? I did it but I won't repeat it. Consoles are not worth my money.
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

Long live the PC master race huh?

I'm glad I can enjoy games on both platforms. If GTA is anything to go on, perhaps this one will make it to PC.

Sadly, a dying breed :)

But it's not by belief, it's by experimentation I got to this conclusion.

I love jumping between consoles and pc. Take the forza release for example on the xbox one its been flawless. On pc it's been a fucking shambles. Xbox just turn on and play pc gotta change this that this etc to get it to hopefully run ok. Sometimes its nice for things to just work. I realise not all console releases are like this too but they only have 1 hardware config to plan for so its alot easier

Love RDR but would really prefer this one on PC. The low resolution and frame rates on PS3 were disappointing.

Haven't felt compelled to get a PS4 yet. Uncharted and this are the only titles that have interested me so far. PSVR looks disappointing.

It's been "dying" for 20 years. Steam is still growing strongly though. They hit 10M peak concurrent users in June 2015. 13.48M at the start of this month. Add the players on origin, gog, uplay, MMO's etc and I doubt it's going anywhere soon :)

I never played the original. Even though people said it was brilliant, for some reason I found the idea of trotting about on horseback across vast deserts might be a bit dull.

Presumably there's a bit more to it given the reviews :D

Definitely one of the best games of last gen. This will probably tip me over the edge to buying a PS4 when/if it comes out.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will release worldwide in Fall 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
The same happened to GTA 5 when it was released. Can only hope it comes to PC.

Anyone else getting the PS4 pro?

I'll definitely be getting hold of one before this launches.

I'll wait for the eventual PC release. They love to double/triple dip on the release of their games these days, as it seems to be Rockstar's modus operandi.

Never got to play Red Dead Redemption. Wanted to, but not enough to buy a console. I wanly hoped they would make a PC version (there must have been heaps of demand), but was disappointed...

That's what I did last time. It never happened. Still pisses me off to this day. Even now it would make them money. I just don't get it.

I have an Xbox One. I'm glad I didn't pay for it. I'd have been pretty disappointed. Actually it's gotten better with more content and features added over the last couple of years. But it generally gets used as a media player/Netflix/catch-up TV...

I still won't be buying this on console, it's not the sort of game I want to play with a controller.

PC gaming has been making a pretty big come back in recent years. Less and less freedom for console gamers, and increasing costs for playing online/games themselves, means more people are going back to PC. It's actually a cheaper gaming platform to run. It will never be the same as it was, but I think PC releases still get held back because of the pirates.

I meant that in relation to GTA V. I wish RDR had come to PC.
