O.K packages are on there way via snail mail for the following payees:
ysu
VTRacing
Sapient
wobblysauce
You may be lucky enough to get them by the end of the week but should definitely have them by Mon/Tue next week.

Acerlyte, looks as though your payment has not cleared customs as yet. I will continue to look out for it.

Beno & Maniak's packages will be leaving today so some time next week you should have it guys.

Acerlyte, still no sign of your payment so it might pay to double check things at your end.

the eagle has landed, as well as more bills

as for the patch and other stuff i have found this post that was made some time ago, most not working any updates as in new links

First grab the all in one patch, should be at Magnus' track datdabase http://trackdb.d2g.com/all-in-one.asp
then head to the GPLEA site and grab the latest cars. http://gplea.rscsites.org/
Also head to Klas' GPL Today for track updates to the original tracks. http://hem.bredband.net/klafje/gpl_today.htm
For sounds, try our very own 4of5's sound garage http://4of5.speedgeezers.com/
grab Do0g's Ferrari sound from there, it's a must. But first get sound patch to enable non-official engine sounds http://gplea.rscsites.org/sounds/carsound.zip
Also grab the 65 mod http://55and65.speedgeezers.com/gpl65/

Great to hear you received the goods Wobblysauce,.
As for all the links forget them and just go and get the GPL Preservation Society Installer as posted by Speed in Pg1: viewtopic.php?p=167207#p167207
This will get you up & running on a modern PC with all updates and new graphics required.

Also once you are ready to look at other things then here is a list of the most useful sites you will need for GPL:
1. RSC Forum for GPL: http://forum.racesimcentral.com/forumdi ... gplthreads
2. Alternate Track Database: http://gpltd.bcsims.com/ (enough add-on tracks to keep you busy for yrs)
3. GEM+ & IGOR: http://gem.ebi-service.de/ (GEM+ is for managig the season mods below, IGOR is used to find servers & race online)
4. 1966 Season Mod: http://1966gpl.speedgeezers.net/
5. 1969 Season Mod: http://1969gpl.speedgeezers.net/
6. Thundercars Mod: http://tcmodgpl.speedgeezers.net/page%201.htm (fictional 60's indycar mod)
7. SRworld: http://www.srworld.eu/ (Useful GPL Site)
8. GPL Rank: http://gplrank.schuerkamp.de/php-pub/gplrank.php (Like LFS World for when you want to rank yourself against the best)

I am interested to find out who is still waiting for their packages, from what I can tell the following ppl haven't received theirs yet or failed to post/PM they have?
- Beno
- ysu
- Sapient
I would have expected all would have received them by now even with them being delivered via normal post.

Those who have acknowledged they got it are VTRacing, ManiakMatt, wobblysauce & Acerlyte.

Nope, it's still nowhere. I've asked at the post office too, as sometimes they 'forget' to put the notification in the letterbox, they've checked and nothing is waiting there either.

Damn, sorry ysu I guess that was always my fear using normal snail mail but overnight bag was more expensive than the cost of the game.
np's I will copy mine and resend asap. Just to double check can you resend your addy via PM, hate to think we got our wires crossed & that was the cause.
