Since RSC seems to be dead, folks are hanging around at SRMZ for GPL stuff, if not already then you'll need to register if you want to try it out

1st release of 60fps patch is there... it does make GPL run pretty smooth... the old girl lives on

i did read about this a while ago, but they were having trouble with the physics being attached to it, i assume it's all fixed. It still amazes me that over 10 years later the mod community for GPL is still going strong. I wonder how many other pc games have this level of commitment from fans. I guess the thing is, GPL is the only game to fill that niche market.
