Have ASRG even stopped running it entirely? Anything over 10 years is a bloody awesome run for a game though!

Who is doing the eulogy?

I think W00dsy should do another of his brilliant GPL movies to sign it off.

I don't think it wants to go on the cart though.

I dusted it off just last week for a few nights, running around Solitude and Brno 48. Had a ball. But a busy life means I don't get those opportunities often. Still my favourite though, as I have never had anything else.

Could've had a bit more than just the Ferrari 166 in it.

There will be more than Ferrari's. I found a list but I know Brabhams and Lotus are being modelled. BT23, Lotus 41 and Lotus 48 sound real close to being done.

Lotus 48 FVA
Lotus 41B
Cooper T84 FVA
Brabham BT14 LF
Brabham BT23 FVA
Protos 16 Ron Harris
Lola T100 FVA
Lola T100 BMW
Matra MS5
Matra MS7 Tyrell Racing
Mc Laren M4A FVA
Ferrari 166 SEFAC

So, are we going to have a wake? Drag the old bitch out for one more night? Or do we just let the memory of the one thing that brought many of us together in the start just fade away?

Did a couple of laps of the 'ring tonight.

waaay off the pace of course but gee it was fun. I was in the Lotus and yes I crashed a few times but it didnt feel like the hard work of the more recent sims since GPL.

I am keen to get back in to some iRacing but Im struggling to find the desire. Maybe some offline GPL racing will fulfill my needs :)

Fired it up again tonight. Even did an AI race at Bathurst. Was so good I feel like tracking down Chris Kelly to give him the $5 I owe him for downloading the track all those years ago.

Actually fired it up to have a look at Surfers 68. Dr Bob and the team did a good job. But I have no memory of the real track which is a shame.

Oddly enough, me and a friend were talking about starting it up again too. Last time I raced it was 2009. It certainly has more appeal than F1 2010.

I've always been a bit quicker than him so I'm giving him a month head start while I play the new Assassins Creed game and then I'll see what rank times he's set for me to shoot at :)

Woo! First lap was a 1.08.83 at the Glen in the Ferrari :)

I keep pondering getting this back up and running so I can play something against AI but I worry about how much effort is required to get everything installed and setup - especially with three screens.
