This system is clearly designed to stop head impacts on machinery rather than flying bits of car.

The easiest thing to do is virtual safety car then pit limiter where machinery is on track.

This guy desperately wants to be Will.I.Am but has none of the talent (and Will.I.Am is the laziest talented prick on the planet).

He needs to learn about style. This is one of my favourite athletes when I was a teen.

Looks more and more likely that he'll get back into the sport. I'd be surprised if it happened mid season though.

Why Dex? Palmer is embarrassingly mediocre. He makes his old man look like Mansell.

As always, fuck me Hamilton is a twat.

Because he's probably paid for a full season.

Yeah this. And likely would start suing if the contract was broken.

He did alright for a kid who grew up eating imagination sandwiches - an imagination sandwich is two pieces of bread and you imagine the filling.

Nasty piece of work is Isiah - that spell in New York was a colossal clusterfuck. Touch, tough dude though, used to kick his defender in the shins as he was dribbling to create space - the co-ordination required for that boggles my mind.
The douchebagery that Lewis attempted in the final race last year though is absolutely something Isiah would have tried though. Really interesting dude.

They all try something though. You try to get into the head of your opponent at that level. I just use to love watching him drive for the basket. I'll be honest and I don't know much about his life after his playing career but he seems to carry himself well even if he did rub people up the wrong way.

That smile was deceptive. He got into a sexual assault situation when he was with the Knicks - which is literally rubbing someone up the wrong way!!
He is someone I find incredibly interesting.
Also an interesting comparison to Lewis who looks and acts like a bit of a douche but I think has good intentions most of the time. Where as Isiah had that big smile and is a super smooth talker but was a magnet for controversy with his MJ freeze out in the 85 All Star game, his Larry Bird comments, not getting picked for the Dream Team, running the CBA into the ground then the stuff with the Knicks.
An interesting contrast of image and substance between those two.

People used to pick on Stewart for saying the sport was unsafe, or Schumacher for being a dick in his pre-Ferrari days, or Lauda for taking the sport so seriously and treating it like a business, or Hunt for not taking it seriously or Brabham for being shy and driving like a speedway driver, or Hulme for winning a championship when he didn't win all the races, or Hawthorne for having kidney diseases or.... etc, etc.
I struggle to think of 5 drivers who were universally loved, or at least liked to an extent where people didn't run their mouths off.
Clark, Amon and Senna, and even Senna is questionable, Amon was just too damn nice to do anything in the sport and the only reason Clark never made enemies was because he was either too shy or too busy with his many girlfriends to get into any sort of trouble.
Hell, a lot of the reasons why top drivers get scorned so much is the fact that they're the best of the best and the rest of us have to tear them down to our standards somehow, Except Lewis, he's a tool.

Sauber and Honda have announced before the Hungarian Grand Prix that their partnership to use Honda’s Formula 1 engines in 2018 will not proceed.

They managed to arrange a deal with another supplier, offering significantly more performance than the Honda unit.

Hard to see McLaren going anywhere else but to stick with Honda now.
