Well they are 30 minute eps. And Alonso is pretty good in it I thought. It must have taken some discipline though.

Just watched the first one from the link posted here. Interesting stuff. Really would love to see them back near the pointy end. Williams too.

Nope. They decided not to renew. Although that was under Bernie's ever increasing fee system. There's a suggestion they might be tempted back by Liberty.

Malaysia might stay out of F1 for a year or two. Depends on the fee though. But motogp is their big event specially having Malaysian riders going good in the lower classes.

I wonder why they can't have some sort of release pin at the front and hinge it at the back so you open it a bit like a canopy to get in. Maybe it wouldn't pass the crash test.

The price point is good but I hope they have an on demand element so we can catch the races that are early morning, if we get access to it.

Australia won't get "official" access until after the current Foxtel deal finishes.

Foxtel deal was 5 years I think? So maybe 2020 or so for us.

Fuck you Stan, this is your fault!

VPN anyone?

We can't be the only country that has a current F1 TV license, I'm thinking Sky would be the same, so I hope this is speculation and not known fact.

Yeah won't be Sky initially either.. Anywhere with a TV contract that allows for IP distribution, like Foxtel Go, will likely be excluded.
During the season, F1 TV will be made available in four different languages (English, French, German and Spanish) and will appear in nearly two dozen markets at launch (including Germany, France, USA, Mexico, Belgium, Austria, Hungary and much of Latin America).
It's a start and signals the breaking down of old models.

The problem is that if this happens to all sports Foxtel may be see as cheap for some sports nuts as they are forced into $10 /month for each sport they enjoy.. AFL, NRL, F1, CRICKET etc..

F1 needs to do better if it expects me to pony up $100 to $120 per year. WEC is better value IMHO for ~$50/yr
