He must have made some good moves stick, he was what, 14th or so after t1? Still had to pass other cars in what seemed like a not so big battle, so he's done some great work to manufacture those passes on his own on that track!

Scottie just realised, Sam's going to be racing a Porsche around Monaco next!!!

Wow, 14th is awesome for a first time out at the track. A big time spread compared to Barcelona (considering how short the track is). I guess it's going to be about commitment to find those extra tenths (seconds).

Excellent indeed. He said on facey that he was P4 for most of the session, and got bumped down because he stayed out on older tyres to maximise lappage. Very encouraging. Fingers crossed for another top 10.
