Ignore that stream, seems there's no live British Eurosport coverage of Monaco.

Try this - it's French, but appears to have the Monaco Supercup race. I hope.

Made up one spot and kept it off the wall on the first lap, that's a very good start at Monaco! :D

Carnage at turn 1 brought out the safety car...

Started 14th, finished 13th. Not a bad result for a track that's incredibly hard to pass on!

Must be so hard to race around there & keep it out of trouble let alone pass, I'm guessing Sam go a great start to make up the spot to snag 13th?
I think he'll be ruing his Qual yesterday as he did say he felt that car was good enough to get a top 10 grid spot. Them the breaks.

Thanks for chasing a webstream link again wild. :D

Sam started 13th despite qualifying 14th, looks like Schmidt got bumped back to 16th from 13th after qual. Ledogar jumped him from 14th and finished 12th but he made back the spot he lost when Lukas went from 9th and DNF'd. A pretty normal processional Monaco race really. The only change up near the front was his team mate Barker going from 4th to finish on the podium in 3rd.

Yep. Another solid effort. Qualifying was always obviously going to pretty much determine finishing position plus or minus a couple of places. I'm just so totally jealous of the fact he drove around Monaco!

Hiya Lads,

Thanks for all the support especially to those who messaged me personally on facebook and texts. Means a great deal!

About to head over to Austria for the next round, seems to be a relatively simple track which is good in some ways but also has cons. Those being, its easy to learn and get on the relative pace quickly but because of that reason it will also mean the times will be extraordinarily close - so every tenth and hundredth will count!

The year has been an interesting one. Currently we are quite a bit behind on miles to most of the competitors. It's mainly a budget thing, suffice to say beggars can't be choosers. We are doing whatever we can to gear up for a good crack in 2016. This year is just trying to stay a float and stay racing, its been a big struggle in many ways but immensely successful in others. No excuses - it just is what it is, hopefully I will get off my ARSE and find a way to get more budget! :D

The competition in this series is nothing I've experienced before. Maybe sometimes in Australian Formula Ford you would have 5 or 8 guys on the pace, similar to Carrera Cup but in Supercup, anyone in the top 10 basically is good enough to win and anyone in the top 15 is usually within a second. The recent test in Monza, 8 tenths separated 16 guys. So it makes for some incredible fun.

For all the English lads - obviously the UK GP is coming up soon. If anyone would like to attend or catch up, I would love to say Hi, let me know via pm, facebook etc if you are planing on going and I will move mountains to catch up with you all!

Again thanks for everything you have all done. It all started here and its just such a special place for me, I am always checking things even if I don't post much. So it never goes unnoticed.

You're there doing your best in the biggest pond there is apart from the really long race that just finished .

As always hoping you go from strength to strength and get another crack at it next year . Do you have a South African accent like Mark Webber yet..

The accent is more a mix between yobbo and pommy... He is from Adelaide so he already had a screwed up accent... The start point was always going to make it end poorly... :)

It's an Adelaide thing to call it laygo. I have a friend who moved to Adelaide and they had a big debate about it at work, so they emailed the company who confirmed it's Lego.

From Sam's official facebook page
Day to forget that one! Wet qualifying - went out on old wet tyres, then changed to new tyres later in the session. Team timed everything perfectly.
Aaaaand then we got a red flag just after leaving the pits, ending the session. My fault for not putting in a better banker lap with the other set, will take it in the stride - at least tomorrow will be a fun race from p20!
