Looks like the BoP changes for the GTE cars (Ford/Ferrari) they made really haven't been enough. The Ferrari trails behind a Porsche and Corvette. Then drives past them and off into the distance with barely any effort.

I dunno, the GTE's that haven't had issues are all stuck together...

Interesting Porsche don't have the stint length of Toyota. Toyota looking really good in pace and stint length... just reliability to answer to.

Yeah the Toyota's pace & stint length puts them as the favorite at the moment in LMP1 & sure is a surprise.

GTE Pro will be interesting if more rain comes as the Porsche cars will challenge the 488's & the Ford GT's.

A long, long way to go & as they say, Le Mans is all about the night.

The Aston's and Vette's look like the need some more restrictor compensations even though they got larger one's on Thursday.

Went to bed around 6am, slept a few hours & just back from my boys footy match to check the race.
Shattered to see the No.1 out of it but at least the no.2 is giving Toyota a run for their money.
All other classes also seem to be two horse races depending on pit-stop cycles & who can survive without issues.
What happened to 2 of the GTE-Pro Ford GT's, only 1 keeping up to the 488 now?

Race is still close. I wouldn't begrudge Toyota a win. Nice to see some people in that company actually have a pulse. :)

Yeah I agree, they have never won Le Mans and it might encourage them to stay.. We need all the factory teams we can get..

Stayed up watching last night until 4am despite having to work at 9 :/
It was weird going to sleep while they were in daylight and waking up and they were under lights.

Shame about the #1 but hoping Toyota can pull it off now.

GTE was great early on battling with LMP2 cars

It's weird watching a LeMans where Audi aren't a threat.

Wow what a huge call for race control, effectively telling the #1 to go another lap down & let the Toyota's through with the #2 up thier clacker.

I'm guessing they over heard a team call or something? I thought it was weird too.

Interesting... Maybe Nr 5 needs to be cautious if Nr.6 has overheating or electrical issue?

Oh now way, Toyota #5 has lost power & Porsche will win. OMFG!

And the Ford GT's finish 1 & 2 in GTE Pro. After the Ferrari 488 gets a late penalty.

As big a Porsche fan as can be, so this result is as it should be. But that is mighty rough for the rice burners.
