It was magic wasn't it  Friend of mine is waiting to hear if he was just made redundant. If he finds out today or tomorrow we are going to Mugello in two weeks. Otherwise, next year I am there. Gotta see Rossi race there before he leaves. Good points haul Rossi given his start.

Moto3 was a good race too.

I reckon so, factory options for Iannone are limited. Doubt he would take a satellite option given his status as a factory rider. Expect him to continue the development of the Suzuki on a similar path to MV25. 2017 already shaping up to be an exciting year.

From crash.net
Ducati is the first MotoGP factory team to confirm its 2017 rider line-up. Yamaha and Honda have so far officially announced Rossi and Pedrosa respectively, Suzuki is yet to announce any riders. KTM has one seat free alongside Bradley Smith while Aprilia needs a team-mate for Sam Lowes.

Holy shit, that was awesome! Moto3 has to be one of the best classes in any motor sport. The top 5 covered by 0.07 seconds, the top 15 by 2 seconds and the top 21 by 4.5 seconds. I need a lay down after that! :vibes:

Yup... I went to bed after that mechanical. Watched the replay today at work. Good racing, would have been lively with 3 of them.

Indeed RIP. :(

I imagine that's the last we'll see of the chicane free configuration too.

i heard it's being changed for the next sessions. They use the F1 layout. It's strange the gravel trap doesn't start where he hit, it's a bit more around the corner.

Yeah that was good to see. I'm all for rivalries but leave it on the track if possible.

Yea same view here mate. Although Schwantz v Rainey was a good rivalry, both on and off track  I wonder if it would have been the same reaction if the positions were reversed? I would like to think so but I am not so sure. I know Pedrosa has calmed his view down to other riders after they lost Super-Sic, well according to "Hitting the Apex" doco.

I have lost count of how many forms I have signed off "This is dangerous, death is potential" etc You don't really think about it, but today when I took the R1 out, I felt really vulnerable. First time ever.

Might be time to buy a boat lol

Assen in two weeks lads, should be a cracking race if the weather stays out of it.
