i just realised, the 2 times Lewis had a DNF a Red Bull won. Because Rosberg got hit from behind on the first lap of both and couldn't benefit from it.

Well, sort of. Lewis DNF at Malaysia lost him 25 points and moved Rosberg up to 3rd. That was a swing of 28 points right there.

Nico has blown it by playing it safe.
#blessed will come 2nd and Nico DNF on the weekend.

That 3rd one is the reason Nico shouldnt have let Lewis through at Monaco this year. Lewis wouldn't do it when they were on different strategies, so Nico shouldnt have followed team orders and done it on the same strategy. He needs to be more of a selfish arsehole like Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso.

Re: 2016 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX
I'm not supporting Lewis or Nico but Lewis has lost more points to things out of his direct control than Nico. He's arguably lost more points due to elements under his control too though (shit starts).
I certainly enjoy watching Lewis race more than Nico as he's more likely to make things happen on track. Otherwise I'm happy to see an ex-Williams driver take the WDC. Plus it should inject more interest into the championship next year.

Re: 2016 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX
This guy is a huge hypocrite.
2016 after inheriting his win from RicciardoLewis Hamilton has underlined his sense of superiority at Mercedes by claiming that he would still feel like a moral victor even if his team-mate, Nico Rosberg, should win a first world title here in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. “Maybe I ought to keep this private, but I feel a certain way in my heart about how I have performed,” he said. “If he is labelled the world champion, it doesn’t necessarily mean that is the way it is labelled in my heart.”
Even by Hamilton’s standards of needling, it was provocative. There has been conflict between the pair ever since they were drawn together at Mercedes, but the stakes of this weekend’s confrontation in the Gulf has thrown the tension into its sharpest relief yet. Describing the differences between their racing styles, the reigning champion suggested that Rosberg tended to celebrate victories that he had not fully earned. He made a barbed reference to last year’s Monaco Grand Prix, which the German won after the team botched Hamilton’s final pit stop.
“I generally want to win because I’m the best,” he said. “I want to pass you because I’m better, because I’ve outsmarted you. I don’t want to have any victory where it has been given to me. There’s nothing heroic about that, nothing hard-earned. There’s nothing in that for me, but for other people there is. Monaco in 2015 was really strange for me, because I thought: ‘Dude, you didn’t earn that win, and yet you’re the happiest.’”

And a sore loser. As someone else said, I too respect his driving ability but that's where my respect for him ends.w00dsy wrote:This guy is a huge hypocrite.

If you could unpack him from a box with his mouth taped shut, insert him in the car just to drive and take him back out to put him back in the box, perfect! Do that that every round.

Re: 2016 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX
I don't really want Lewis to win, but I have a feeling he will. My view is that Nico is just trying to walk it in at this point and I feel this could work against him Sunday night. It's really too close for him to be cautious or take things easy, and turn 1 on the first lap could be his downfall.
Although after saying that, Red Bull have made some bad strategy decisions this year, so they may end up giving it to Nico.
Fingers crossed that next year mixes things up a bit!

Isn't that exactly what Frank Williams said about Nigel Mansell? lolDr. Pain wrote:If you could unpack him from a box with his mouth taped shut, insert him in the car just to drive and take him back out to put him back in the box, perfect! Do that that every round.

The ideal thing for me.
#blessed gets pole by 0.6 seconds. Nico 2nd. Then Nico just fucking ploughs into him at T1 and takes them both out. The german way. I would laugh so hard my cock would fall off.

Senna hit Prost intentionally at Suzuka to win the championship in 1990 as payback for him thinking Prost took him out the year before.

Great Qualy, the skill of these boys to keep dropping their times is amazing.
It looks to be perfectly setup for the race tomorrow.

Re: 2016 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX
Is it too much to ask for an accident tonight that puts both Merc drivers out for 6 or 7 months? I don't wish ill health upon anyone but the sport is far more interesting without them.
Nico will be blubbing tonight after the race but a part of me wants him to be a bad winner, a bit of this

So #brittany vs #blessed, to the victor goes the spills.
Here's hoping it's exciting to the end.

I get the feeling Hamilton could pull away if he wanted to but his only hope is to keep the other cars in touch with Rosberg in case a passing opportunity comes or Rosberg gets in traffic at the pit stops.
