What a shame, poor bastard lives through a career of crashing bikes and it skittled by an asshole in a car.

ABC News wrote:Italian newspapers reported on Monday that investigators had found video of the accident from a camera on a house overlooking the road.

They said the images suggested Hayden had failed to stop at an intersection and was hit full on by the passing car.

There was no immediate confirmation of the report from the investigators.

What, too soon?

Hate to pile on Muppet, but you're better than that.

Even if he did fail to stop, it is a hell of a price to pay.

This is one of the things people need to be careful of when a cyclists gets cleaned up. A lot of the time it is the drivers fault, but there are times when it is the cyclists fault. I am worried this is what we will find out about Mike Hall who got killed in Canberra during the IndiPac ride (Perth to Sydney).

I loved Hayden but i wouldn't be surprised if it was his fault. Those guys don't tend to back off that much away from the track. Whincup mentions it a bit in this clip.

MotoGP keeps delivering what Formula 1 can only dream of, entertainment. The racing is so much better, the rules are obeyed, and the riding talent is the main show.

Found out on the weekend, as I watch the BT Sports stream, that Julian Ryder has also retired from commentary. Not having Keith and Julian after they stopped doing Superbikes was terrible enough, but now not to have them doing MotoGP as well. Sad days.
