Sneaky Haas are first out of the blocks.
Not a lot of sponsors going on there....
It's also only renders of what the real car is going to look like.
I didn't realise they were still allowing a central barge-board but at least it's contoured to the car so looks much better.

Colour change for Red Bull EDIT: Actually it's a testing paint job again. Proper colours revealed later.

Gees these halos just look crap... Anyone know if it is a standard item used by all the teams or can they design their own variant as long as it complies to the rigorous crash tests?
This years RBR have an even bigger snout. :piggy:

The RB14 is currently wearing a special edition livery. We're keeping our race-ready paint job under wraps for the time being and will unveil it at the Circuit de Catalunya next week. The unfamiliar shapes under the paint, however, are here to stay.
Interesting. I like this colour scheme.

It's standard

Standard but I think they've been allowed some aero freedom with it. I suspect we won't see any of that until testing or even the first qually as it could be an interesting area to exploit. It's the only thing that will make the halo interesting anyway!

Quite a lot going on round the sidepods.

Alfa Romeo Sauber
Nostrils, tiny sidepods, little winglet slot on top of the halo and a split airbox. Interesting.

Yeah too much white on the Alfa Romeo, I guess they didn't want to compete with the Tifosi!!!

That paint job of Red Bull is very clever. You look at the Renault, nice bright colours, can see every detail, the testing livery on the Red Bull means it's harder to see the detail and it wouldn't photograph well. They are some clever little fuckers over there in Milton Keynes.

It's used a lot and been around a long time to hide and confuse outlines of vehicles

I wonder how long it'll take to get used to the halo. Jars me every time I see a picture.
Still, it's not like the hilarious dildo noses they had a few years back

So they turn a horrible looking contraption into an even more horrible looking contraption by placing an aero element on the halo.
How is that not a safety concern by having a breakable element on it? Makes a mockery of the reason it was brought in imho.

The halo is there to stop the head impacts that Maria de Villota and Jules Bianchi suffered and nothing more. So any aero device on top does not compromise what the halo is meant to do.
