Nitro Circus

Post by w00dsy »

if you haven't seen this you really need to. It's Travis Pastrana and some mates doing some of the most insane stunts you can think of. It's like Jackass but with talented people and cars, bikes, boats, paracutes etc.

Nitro girls, Jolene Van Vogt is as mad as Pastrana. She's seriously impressive.

i assume so, i got season 1 off a mate who i assume got it from BT. I've watched 4 eps so far and it's just blowing me away with what they do. The chick Jolene is just insane. Pastrana rode a bike off the edge of a canyon with her on the back, he jumped off and she kept riding it down until she had to pull her chute. He thought she was dead but afterwards she said she wanted to out do him.

Cool, some heartstopping moments in that! Looks like Top Gear meets Jackass.

Is there any reason these sorts of things are always accompanied by durgy rock music?

look for Thrillbillies as well, it's pretty much the same core group of people with a few extras thrown in.

http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/sh ... NITROCIR10
The world’s greatest action sports star Travis Pastrana - winner of 14 X Games medals, will be making his first ever tour to Australia in 2010.

The worldwide debut of Nitro Circus Live will take place in May/June next year, following the extraordinary success of the Nitro Circus TV show which has been a ratings smash hit right around the globe this year. Travis will be joined by all the crazy Nitro Crew and some of the world’s greatest action sports stars in the most spectacular live show of its kind ever produced.
It would be alright to see this live but, $150 bucks!!!
I was thinking of going till i saw the price. Not too sure if having the show in an entertainment ctr would take anything away from the natural style of the show where there stunts are in a different location all the time.

Still, it would be cool to go n see.

Yeah, I can't wait... Although Melbourne is the last show, 2 outcomes out of that...

1. They're all injured and won't do anything cool
2. They're all fine so they give it their best
