I'm surprised there's not a thread on this already. Best show on TV. Everything he says is gold and the rest of the characters are classic too. Cheryl and Pam especially. "You could drown a baby in panties right now" :D

They're basically all horrible people though so it's only when Mallory screws over Archer that you really feel sorry for anyone.

I've tried to like it. But I can't get past the voice of the main guy, its the same as Bob from bobs burgers. Messes with my brain...

Great show, got them all so far.

Purchased Season 3 today. It's probably my favourite TV show.

If everyone thinks so highly of it, why am I only finding out about it via Twitter last week? :)

I assumed it would have previously been mentioned here it also seems to have only been picked up lately by a lot of people.

I've been following Archer since Season 1 as I am a huge fan of Frisky Dingo by the same creator but that show is far more bizarre.

Yep. First saw it a couple of years ago with my old housemates. Awesome show.

Just the tip.

I could never quite get in to Frisky Dingo. Sealab 2021 was another one (that had a crossover with Archer in season 4) that I could watch but never grabbed me. Archer just seems to be strong everywhere. And so, so wrong.

I kept seeing it on torrent sites and it always had a shit ton of leechers and seeders, but never thought to give it a look.

Then someone on Twitter said something about "...and thats how you get ants" and all these blokes cracked up and chimed in with quotes, so I thought I would take a look.

Now, I fucking love it. The bride walked into the kitchen the other day and I had just mowed the lawn in the heat. I was tipping a beer down my neck and she started talking. I kept drinking and held up my finger and nearly choked laughing at myself.

Wow!

I love the details in the animation, but have a read of this...

http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/pict ... e-20140113" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

An average episode takes about eleven weeks from the moment we get a script to the moment we turn it in.

Stuck with it for a few episodes Mando, it probably took me about 6 before the occasional chuckle turned into constant laughter as I got to know the characters.

I think I need to re-watch season 4 before I get stuck into season 5 (I like to build up a buffer of a few episodes first). Anyone watched the first episode yet? The change of direction for the show has me intrigued.

Yep, it was a montage of what is to come. Plenty of laughs. One of Lana's lines to Archer is classic.

Season 4 felt the weakest for me because of that change of direction but it got better as it went on. I'm looking forward to season 5.
