Interested to see if the show feels fresh again. I have my doubts somehow.

Will be even more self-indulgent and over-produced and even less about cars and more about these 'personalities' than the previous version. A shower of shit, I predict.

No mention of Clarkson's wooden teeth or pubic hair on his head. Or of May's gut. Or Hammond's sense of self importance. They are the Kardashian's of the motoring world for mine.

Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond have named their new Amazon Prime show The Grand Tour.

Get ready to take The Grand Tour with the former hosts of Top Gear because that's what Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond are calling their new show on Amazon Prime. The name comes from the fact that the action takes place around the world. The first season starts streaming this fall.

Like the U.K. Top Gear, there will still be a studio audience for some segments of the show, but the location will change for each episode. Amazon will announce the filming locations soon, and it will hold a sweepstakes this summer for people to win tickets to be there. Clarkson further clarified the concept on Twitter by saying, “So, the Grand Tour (GT for short) will come from a tent, which we will put up in a different location every week. Your town?”

Moving the studio for each episode seems laborious, but it makes sense. Amazon Prime has a reach across many countries around the world. By shifting the location frequently, The Grand Tour doesn’t only cater to a specific audience.

The trio has done a great of job at least making it seem like choosing a name was a long, difficult process. We’ve seen videos of the guys humorously brainstorming ideas, and they even kept the joke going in this announcement. “I wanted to call it ‘Nigel,’ or ‘Roger.’ We needed a name, and they’re names,” May said.

I also spotted on Steam's greenlight a few weeks back a game called the "Not so Grand Tour" or something like that, seems like Amazon is throwing a lot of effort into this as the game was basically a "Grand Tour" based road trip game.

Eerrmmaageeerrd!

I am so excited for The Grand Tour! I've been following all three of the hosts via Facebook, and they post many small hilarious videos. It's been far to long since I saw them onmy TV. Give me now!

Be interesting to see if that's the case... I reckon Amazon will be pulling all stops to try stop it, doubt they will be successful though.
