Sculder and Mully (X-files)

Post by c.j »

So I saw there is a new 6 part X files happening next year. I had no idea what was happening in the original series but tried to follow as best I could as a kid. Any X files fans here? I'll watch it with the misso for old times sake but I wonder how deep it will be for 6 episodes. The original series seemed a bit half arsed as far as story went, but again I don't remember it much.

Yeah looking forward to seeing what it's all about.

When Netflix came out my wife and I started to watch the series again (using Getflix) - got to season 4 before we had to take a break... :) Didn't realise there were so many seasons.

It started to go down hill when David Duchovny started to disappear from episodes. First 6 seasons were really good but it's been long time since I've watched any of them.

I was a huge fan of the original series. So I can't wait for this new 6-part series after hearing about it months ago & seeing the 1st promo clip below. Plus I can't wait to see Scully (Gillian Anderson) on the screen again.
I just hope it's good & doesn't detract from the original which is now over 22 yrs old. After that amount of time you only have a memory of how good it was & be buggered if I'll go back & watch them again especially given their age.

Episode 1 is out at all good retailers. :aussie:
I know what I'll be watching tonight.
But let's keep the spoilers hidden hey...

EDIT: Watched & let's just say I'm hooked already. A great twist to it, to get the story moving again.

Yeah, so far so good, it's just like old times as far as the story goes. Hopefully it doesn't get lost like the original series did for a while there.
