I really enjoyed Discovery and I hope they do some more. But I'll give Altered Carbon a look as I've done Discovery and near the end of Narcos.

Discovery is getting some terrible reviews and I can kind of see why.

Characters haven't been given time to settle in and they killed of half of them in the first series. They need to slow it down a bit.

Yep. I thought it was really finding its feet with the mirror universe but then it just turned into a three episode arc and we're back sans a couple of interesting characters.
