Can’t wait. I enjoyed it a lot more than the grand tour last season.

Matt LeBlanc is to leave Top Gear after the next series.

The Friends and Episodes star began presenting the BBC Two show alongside Chris Evans in 2016.

LeBlanc went on to front the show with Rory Reid and Chris Harris when Evans left after his first series.

LeBlanc said that despite Top Gear being "great fun", the "time commitment and extensive travel... takes me away from my family and friends more than I'm comfortable with."

So my take on that is he wanted more money & the BBC said no...

Not sure about that. He has said a few times it is a strain with the travel.

And I am not sure money would be the driving force. Apparently he is fucking loaded. I think i heard him on a podcast talking about blowing most of his Friends cash, so he is super careful now. Who knows though. What we consider a shitload of cash, they blow on coke and hookers :D

Paddy McGuinness and Andrew Flintoff will be the new presenters of Top Gear, the BBC has confirmed.

The pair will take over from Matt LeBlanc, after he steps down from presenting duties at the end of the next series.

Top Gear had really nice 22 seasons.

Dreaming of further seasons is as pointless as hoping there would be a sequel to Matrix or Metallica releasing a new album after year 1999. Not going to happen.

With those two being added they're obviously trying to make it a 'lads' show again. They've been employed purely for their 'banter' ability. So cue more wacky challenges, driving across <insert country> in a car costing less than <insert amount>, or, and here's another great idea, driving across <insert country> in 3 supercars. Oh the hilarity!

Come on guys, think up a new format. Look at what people enjoy on youtube, and make it new and interesting. I think people are over this lads out together in fast cars thing.

I've already decided not to bother renewing Amazon for next series of The Grand Tour, and I really enjoyed the last series of Top Gear so I'm disappointed with this. I've seen a few non-car people on Facebook (mainly younger people I'd say) saying they think this new line up will be great but I think it's a bizarre decision.

I do get the sense that the BBC is so London-centric that they just don't get cars or what made Top Gear what it was. There's a good chance at least half the people involved in hiring for TG don't even drive.

What made Top Gear work was the chemistry between the three of course, but it was all built on a solid foundation of a passion for cars. That was the core of the show, and gave it a depth it wouldn't otherwise have. With Chris Evans they already proved that putting in somebody who doesn't really know or care much about cars doesn't work.

I think this new line up will be funny but basically forgettable.

So will there now be 4 presenters? I really enjoyed the new line up after Evans left.

Just three: Flintoff, Harris and McGuinness.

I think Rory's just doing the secondary online-only show. I can't help but wonder who he upset :D

Yeah Rory is doing TG Extra which was the sort of add on show where they chatted a bit more to the guest but I don't think many people watch it. I only saw a couple I think. He's also started doing some stuff for Carfection on youtube so maybe he's ultimately looking to go there. He started on YT after all.

Yeah he must have annoyed the wrong bloke. That’s weird, you’d think you’d keep Chris and Rory as part of the main lineup.

Carfection is cool though, that vid on manuals is exactly why I love cars.
