Cricket Show had a story on Ellyse Perry today.

Australia's hottest FOT? The worlds more gorgeous cricketer/footballer. The thing I would eat out of her ARSE. Yum.

That's now 1/800 odd in the past few days batting then?
India 20/600 (if that) in the same time!

Can someone explain to me why a batsman like Warner couldn't just say fuck this, enough, I am off to the dressing room when he reaches say 150? Then India don't get the wicket but a new batsman comes in?

He can. That is retiring and is within the rules. He can't come back out though. And from memory, is as good as out in the statistics. Retired Hurt is a different matter.

Was just chatting to my grand father this morning. Catching up for new years and he reminded me of what he said after the test in Hobart.

"This Aussie team is nothing flash, but they will flog India 3-0 in the series."

Chatting to him about it this morning he said he never expected an Indian team to win a series out here. I was surprised that they hadn't. Looking into it, they have only won 5 games out here from 39! Lost 24. Jesus. The old bastard, he is a student of the game. I shouldn't have been surprised.

And 2 of those wins were against a side dramatically weakened by World Series Cricket I would think in 77/78.
And one other was one a horribly slow Perth wicket recently.

LOL. I just turned the TV on and it happened. It looked like a good ball though. I didnt even know they had got Cowan and Marsh.

We have the inlaws here and the 2.5 year old demands to watch the TV so my cricket viewing is limited. Damn kids.

You know it is time for someone to go when an indian batsman gets a regulation edge to the keeper and you dont think "got him" but instead you think "dont drop it but at least with the bat he got out today playing a defensive shot even it was on 0

Ponting went in his usual early innings style but like all the middle order, he fell to a good delivery.

"I know that Ed's working hard to see the new ball off," Warner said. "That's how Ed plays. It's not going to affect my game at all. With him at the other end soaking up the balls and getting himself in is fantastic, because he's taking the shine off the ball and at the other end I'm doubling that and taking all the lacquer off the ball."
I liked this :)

Wow, they rolled the Indians today. The more I see of Warner the more impressed I am.

India seems to have the same issues as the Aussies, but to a worse extent. A lot of players past there best. I can't think that among the 1,000+ million of them there isn't a new Tendulkar.

Oh, and for Pain and the Tassie connection, ripper catch my Punter today!

Nothing like a bit of humility in winning.

"I want to see us No.1 in all three forms of the game," Clarke said.

"That's the goal of this team."

I struggle to see us being #1 in T20 for a long time without some major changes in that team, let along test cricket. A win is a win and you have to use that momentum I suppose

In T20, heres hoping we are saying Cameron who? before too long. Done nothing in the Big Bash. Hope he gets the flick.

Our test bowling has come a long way in a short time. Good on us too.

Good to see India capable of fighting their way out of a wet paper bag. Punter must have doubled his Swisse pills to be sharp to take that catch. He's had a few moments this summer.

We cant be that far from #1 in tests anymore - regardless of what the rankings say at worst they are #3, possibly #2 and with the youngest side of the top 4 now (England, SA, Aust and India) by far.
Are they still #1 in the ODIs? And how the hell can there be rankings for 20/20? Anyone can beat anyone in that form of the game, just depends on how well timed the closed eye slogs are on a particular day.
