The snowboarding slopestyle at the weekend was brilliant. It's the ski version tomorrow.

I watched some of the moguls tonight. That looks mighty hard on the knees.

Meh, have not been watching it, Summer yes, Winter not so.

It was meant to be about real world skills..

I've already seen more of this than the entire summer olympics in London. It's just more interesting as a casual viewer seeing the downhill skiing or speed skating etc than people running and swimming. I just stick it on when nothing else is on. Haven't really paid much attention though...

I found it funny when we were in Vancouver that the locals called the winter olympics simply "the olympics" and it was the summer version that they prefaced whereas we are typically the other way around.

I prefer watching the winter sports but I never get around to turning the TV on.

I switch over to it now and then but most of the time it's something I'm not interested. Probably just bad timing, I keep hitting figure skating. I watched the downhill which was exciting.

I prefer the Winter Olympics to the Summer. Too many fucking events in the Summer and I always find the boring shite when I channel surf. I've watched speed skating, moguls, luge... hoping I haven't missed the bob sleds tho...

That is true, as it is more of a entertainment.

I was thinking that there must be a cricket match being played where everybody needed to be named Bob... :)

I've got to watch this tonight. Team Luge!!!

Each team comprises a woman, a man, then a doubles pair. Once they get to the end of the run, they hit a button that opens the gate for the next sled to come hurtling down. :)

I watched the slope style last night... going down backwards to the ski jumps and then triple corkscrews (spin 4 times, and flip over 3 times - or something like that)... bloody crazy bastards.

Oh and the speed skating and the teams speed skating... fuck that's hectic.

I was watching the replays of that this morning and couldn't keep watching because of the ads. They had one to two runs at most before a full set of ads. 4 minutes between each break! Drove me insane. So it was back to ABC2 for kids...
