The look of disbelief on their fans faces was such a joy for me.

Now its time to belt those sheep shaggers. They haven't played outside of NZ in nearly 6 months.

I think this is a massive error on their behalf. NZ grounds are quite a bit smaller than the MCG (if I recall correctly) and they now have to travel further before their next game when they have only had limited travel to date. My suspicion is that they didn't think they were going to make the final so they wanted to maximise profits and NZ supporter time.

Agree with that montey. I reckon I saw most of their 6s in nz were like 60ish metres whereas most grounds in aus need 70-80m to clear the rope so they could find themselves getting caught in the deep.

Fantastic win tonight against the kiwi's. The performance this afternoon was amazing. Clarke has had a great world cup and his captaincy has been excellent.

I know he doesn't have many fans here bit I'll be sad to see him go.

Same here Pix... Great performance today. Amazing crowd too. I'm not sure I've ever seen 93,000 at a cricket match. IPL league maybe??

I think it's Clarke's time to go but he did a great job this World Cup. Really happy for him, was hoping he'd be there at the end.

It was a great first innings but boring at the end, happily boring :)

Well played Australia.

We had absolutely nothing for you guys. Your bowlers completely dominated us.

One question I have, why do the Aussie crowds boo Watson?

And that is saying something. Considering it is a team chock full of tossers.

Yeah all that stuff is pretty disappointing, it's not necessary and his justification is just obscene. Haddin is a dick.

Rhino has retired from all forms of cricket. Got a knee injury playing Kent and it's enough to end his career. :(

It's a shame to see him go but its understandable. He's been the backbone of the test bowling attack.

Well he would get bowled a lot if he didnt stop it with his leg. He needed to go on to a big one.

Now Lyon is gone

oh and what was more surprising? that he got out LBW or that he used the DRS?

At least now he comes in down the order he isnt wasting the chances that should go to the good players

The ironic thing was this time it was actually worth calling for the review, quite a close call.

I'm sure I heard someone associated with the Aussie team saying that Johnson is in "career best form". Pfft!

I never really rated the guy, but if this is "career best form", then he really does suck!

Johnson was awesome with both the ball and the bat for the last ashes series in Australia.

He's not in the same format now but with Starc in trouble he is going to have to step up!

As for getting 412 in the 4th innings.. No chance!
