Great game today. Shame that Pakistan couldn't quite pull it off.

I'm off to the BBL tomorrow night with my son.. Anyone else going to the Sydney Derby?

Geez it's Chris Lynn and his 10 piece backing band, The Brisbane Heat once again!

I'm rather crapped off with channel 9 though. Warner makes 144 and it's the greatest thing ever! But Azhar Ali makes 205 not out, first visiting batsman to make a double at the G since Viv Richards 208 in 1984, but fuck him, it's all about Warner. :grumpy:

11 wickets for 700 runs in the test. What a joke.

Scoring at 4.8 runs per over 1st morning of a test, even bigger joke.

It makes it dull. I think the first session should be tough for batsman. Need a green topping for the first session which settles during the first day, make days 3 and 4 good for batting, and day 5 put land mines and tigers and rocks in the pitch.

Isnt that what Hayden, Langer and Gilly used to average (or even better) test after test?

I'm really enjoying BBL this season. But it's a season of injuries especially West Indian hamstrings. But last night was freaky, Peter Nevill got shit out of luck.

Broke his jaw the poor bastard. All my years playing and watching Cricket and I've never seen anything like it. It happened so quick the Batsman never had time to even warn him.

Hundreds are much prized in India. Well done Smithy :)

They need 440 to win.

Low scoring tests.. Doesn't get any better than this..

Batsmen fighting to hold their wicket! Every ball is exciting!

Way better than seeing that cock Warner smash a ton before munch. That isnt test cricket.

Great to watch.
One thing got India in this position - arrogance. There was no need for a sandpit pitch, a regular Indian pitch would have done the job but I reckon they wanted to humiliate Australia, not just beat them and they have played that way to, especially with their use of the reviews. It is also like their cockiness does not allow them to believe O'Keefe could knock them over.

It is if the opposition is truly woeful as Pakistan were.
