Team Redline "Bathurst Graveyard Shift 200"

Team Redline [RSR], are having an inaugural invitational to celebrate it's conception!

We are inviting members over from TOG, NFBS, OMR and ORA to come and join us in the Bathurst "Graveyard Shift" 200.
We will be racing through the night using time scale multiplyer, 32 laps around this mega track at night! Race start is effectively 5pm, finish around 7am!

We realize this is very late notice but just thought it would be good to do a little something on the first weekend we are "Live", in conjunction with the Bathurst race weekend.

We hope you can rustle up a few drivers to come and join us in this fun night of racing. Please nominate yourself by posting here in this thread.

Well the Graveyard Shift has been Run and Won!!

Please congratulate our Inaugural "Grave Yard Shift" Undertaker - Niburu

32 laps of sheer fun was had by all. The Day / Night / Day blend was timed perfectly.

This event celebrated Team Redline's arrival, and the Fixture itself is destined to become our Annual Invitational.

We had 7 drivers in server, and fleshed the field out with a few AI who surprisingly provided a solid challenge.

Kudos goes to Choppa, PORKY, Heretic, Rawprawn and Krysis for races well run.

Great stuff fellas I can't wait for the next event and our upcoming Championship Season!

Fellas in a little twist to this event we are implementing a further idea and we are going to run with it effective immediately...

Because this event is the "Graveyard Shift 200" and we are making it our Annual Invitational, We have decided to always crown the winner of this event the "Undertaker".

Now to the victor the spoils. We thought it would be really really cool if we had like a Forum user's Signature banner for said winner in a picture file format.

Kinda like a WWF Wrestling belt, The banner would be worn by the champion, whom would be required to return and defend his title, in the event of a loss the banner is handed to the incumbent, whom wears it for the next 12 months with a return to defend and so on, and so goes the cycle.

In the bottom of the banner we inscribe the Clan Name of each winner for time immoral. Ie. [RSR] Niburu 2009, [ORA] Octane 2010 etc...

We feel this will cement this fixture within the selected communities we invite, and even build it's legend perhaps over time, as well as further making it a more desirable event to compete in.
