Act Labs H Pattern Shifter

Post by Robbo »

Hi all,

I have about a dozen Act Labs H Pattern Shifters in the original box with controller. I'm looking at $30 each + freight.

Email me at rob@a1racinggear.com.au is interested.

Cheers,
Rob

Hi all,

I need to amend the original post. The Act Labs H Pattern Shifter does NOT come with a controller out of the box. For anyone with A1 Pedals, the shifter can plug straight into the existing controller. I will supply a controller for $15.00 if required.

If I didn't have my Fanatec shifter, I'd be all over that like Clive Palmer on a doughnut.

Oh the memories. I'm sure I still have the prototype version that was shipped straight from the factory :)

Im guessing this would be better than a G27 shifter? With the controller is this pretty much a case of plug an play?

Yes and yes Dex. I had 3 of these. I bought one off someone on here (Woodsy?) then tested the next gen one so got a prototype then a final. Still have the first one I bought but no adaptor.

So this was before Xmas, it's now Feb. I'd be reluctant to hand over my money now, may never see it again.

Not that it helps but I did have a success transaction with Rob when I purchased 2 of his wheels. But yes he seems to have forgotten & / or disappeared again.

Yeah I also bought A1 pedals back in the day. It's a shame, I was on the lookout for a shifter.

I've got a very old shifter that I'd give away for price of postage but it doesn't have the adapter box so I imagine would be fairly useless.

I could potentially use it EK, as I have the controller box from my A1 pedals. Those pedals are now sat aside for the CSP pedals though, so If i wanna race with a mate, they would use the A1's, which mean I couldn't have two wheel and pedal setups with the shifter used in my cockpit.

Cool, well it's yours (or anyone else's if they pipe up) if you want it. :)

Is it similar to what Robbo posted, and still better than the G27 standard shifter? If so I may as well. I can always swap back to the G27 one if someone wants to use the A1 pedals.

While we are talking giving away sim stuff... I have an old USB MS Sidewinder with pedals that's very well used but working, that I don't need if anyone wants.

It's a bit crude (and has a G clamp to hold it onto the desk!). I'll dig it up and send you a pic. Definitely better than the G25 shifter - I haven't used the G27 but can't imagine it would be too different?

I don't think they are much different, but then again, I haven't used the G25 shifter. You can send me pics etc on Facebook if you like.
