AADrift I Round 4 Server Info!

Post by nutty »

Hello,

Round 4 will kick off this week, After last week's positive run with the new rule changes, we will keep plugging along.

This week we leave South City, and move towards the hills of Aston, with As Historic Rev, This section was picked for its high speed sweeping bends.

Date: Tuesday 24/1/06
Time: 8pm
Track: Aston Historic Reverse
Section: http://nutteh.com/images/lfs/AADrift/Round4.jpg
Drivers are asked to leave the pits, and make there way to the start gates, once both drivers are ready, a green flag will be given, in this round a 100km/h speed zone has been setup until you pass under the second bridge, once crossed you are able to speed up to full speed.
Drivers will complete the judged section, then make there way back to the start line for the second run.
Layout: http://www.aadrift.com/AS4R_AADR4.lyt
Judged Corners:
Like last week, you will be judged on 4 corners, this being
first big one, then left, right then second apex right.
Judges: r8response, Tofuboi and Wobblysauce

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

the RB4 or the XRG would be impossible for this layout/track.

even the XRT has some difficulties, but its still possible, but its going to be tough.

this track is a bit more favoured to the FZ and the LX in my opinion.

i was thinking that the first straight was going to be a lot shorter after the last rounds layout.

luckily i was practicing from a shorter distance, but still being able to link the course.

and then i tried the FZ5. and its about 10 times easier. lol.

I figured that would be the case, but thats why I decided for the long strait. that will at least give people a chance if they want to use a slower car :)

OMG I am so sorry Nutty, I only finished rebuilding my PC yesterday and I forgot to check my PM's. I totally forgot about the thing tonight, I am so annoyed. I was bloody stuck tuning that god damn Datsun again.

I hope it went okay guys? I even gave it a bit of a practice run in the RB4, looked like fun... <cry>
