Possibly but when exactly is hard to tell.
I'm not buying it just yet as I'm willing to wait it out for a sale.

I had a test drive of the vette and it felt pretty awful... its almost as if all my wheel settings change when I test a car and I can't use the h shifter either so I would hope its not accurate of how it would drive for me.

The schnoze on yours looks no where near as good as the one on mine.

AI are a little clumsy in these things, but holy crap they are fun to drive. I'd say they are the most challenging yet though, especially the ones with turboz!!1!1!!

Whao... R3E Audi R18 LMP1 in the making.
Sector3 revealed a new preview screenshot confirming that they are working on an Audi R18 LMP1 model for RaceRoom Racing Experience.
The screenshot shows us a cockpit view of the Audi LMP1 at the bottom of Eau Rouge on the world famous Belgian Spa-Francorchamps Circuit. It seems that work is shaping up nicely on both the track and the car, yet no estimated release date is known.

The Audi R18 is a Le Mans Prototype endurance car built by Audi AG. The original Diesel powered Audi R18 TDI LMP was introduced in 2011. Since then Audi Sport has developed two more evolutions of the car. In 2012, the Audi R18 ultra was introduced. Since 2013, the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro that is the hybrid version of the R18 Ultra has been the weapon of choice for the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) including the 24H of Le Mans.

It is not yet clear which version of the car is featured in the screenshot.

You can't, simple as that...
I'm pretty sure it states that on the DTM experience purchase page...?

That's the difference between an experience compared to a pack.

The Sector3 Development team published a new Dev-Stream in which they explain some of the new and coming features for RaceRoom Racing Experience. In case you missed the live Twitch broadcast make sure to check out this recap.

In this episode, the Sector3 staff members talk about the new features they will bring to R3E, and reveal some video footage of the new content that is being worked on. During the video stream we can have a look at the new 2014 WTCC Citroen of Title Winner J.M.Lopez and some in-game action at the Macau, Shanghai and Suzuka circuits.

Sector3’s main Sound designer Anthony Monteil, reveals some of the sound upgrades and sound features that will be included in the update and shows us a new in-house backfire editor.

The highly awaited Dedicated Multi-Player feature is now confirmed to be released in the next update. The dedicated server function will already include the possibility to host Multi-class races and will also include a set of API’s for use in leagues and web developers.

We are not sure if it was intended, or a slip of the tongue, but it is mentioned that the update is planned for next week. It will be a big one, weighing a fat 10gb. The 2014 WTCC car pack and tracks will not be included with the update, but will be out as soon as possible.

The stream also features a few development screens and a very early version video of the R3E Laser scanned Nordschleife.

Another big surprise was the announcement that open wheelers will become part of R3E. There is already a GP2 and entree level open wheeler car in development. Furthermore, it is hinted that also some classic formula cars will be developed. Last but not least, the and of the video shows us an unmentioned 1989 Nissan Nismo Group C car… Le Mans anyone?

R3E – Shanghai International Circuit released for 499vrp (~$7.25 AUD).
Sector3 Studios released the Shanghai International Circuit for RaceRoom Racing Experience in preparation of the WTCC 2014 Car Pack that will be released later this week.
The Shanghai track features three layouts, including Grand Prix, Intermediate WTCC, and West Long sections.

In the included track guide video, Dutch WTCC driver Tom Coronel takes us on a virtual lap of the R3E Shanghai circuit driving his ROAL Motorsport Chevrolet Cruze WTCC.
It is clear that Sector3 once more succeeded in creating one of the better looking virtual versions of this challenging track.

The 4.451 km / 16 Turn Shanghai International Circuit is the host of the Chinese Formula One Grand Prix and is also visited by the MotoGP, V8 Supercar, and WTCC series since its opening in 2004.
