Nurby

Post by Unforgiven »

I have read this track name in a topic in this forum.

By Nurby I'm guessing you mean Nurburgring and if so.... Is it standard with the game or is it one of those addons from someone with no idea one how to texture a grat race track?

I raced Nurby quiete alot on GT4 on PS2 and that was the best remake of the legendary circuit I've seen to date. Whats the one on GTL like? (graphicswise mainly)

If its great and is a standard track I think I may have to invest in this sim just for that reason.
They should make sham wow stubbie holders so if ya spill ya beer you can soak it straight up and put it back in the stubbie

Sorry the Nordschleife is not in GTL only the Mausring.

I was doing some 9:40 in the cortina, now go beat that
Be sure to get monos texture addon, looks great, if you think its to dark use the old *.gdb file of the original track.

With the 906 i am around 8:40 pretty slow, but alot fun. We did a race on sunday morning with 24 people, wich was great fun, all those capris&911s blasting around, one crazy guy even drove the powerfull vette, 270kmh+ on the straight :eyepop:
Ciao, Jumi2.

Edit - 9:38 not 8:38 - Cortina.
I haven't updated the Mono's addon 'cause I want to see what Stoney's patch is going to do. Plus I heard it causes mismatches & possibly even a difference in grip .

Wow, awesome time.
The track was fantastic in GT4. Worth buying the game, just for that & the last challenge, frustrating as it was. Took me 3 days to do the one challenge & even then I had to ride the wall at the Karusell.

Yeah that last challenge in the merc is tough. Especially because of that feking wait at the start. Got GOLD in the end though. Won me the model T ford. WHAKO!!
