Were you running in 16 or 32bit? Simbin games have had some issues with 16bit in the past. It's the only thing I can think of I'm sorry.

I had a quick go at trying to find the minimum requirements but couldn't find anything on their "exiting" website. Does anyone have any more info?

(by the way, I'm running a Radeon 9800 pro and p4 2.8 Ghz CPU.)
I think your problem is the lack of proper DX9 support with that old card :(
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

EK: I tried both 16 and 32 bit modes.

YSU: My card is *supposed* to be a DX9 card. Perhaps it is too old though.

yeah hence I wrote 'proper support'; older cards did have problems here and there - but of course it's just a guess.

Yeah I just jumped online and had a run with the touring cars at brands, didn't realise how competitive some people are already. Only problem I have found so far with the game is that the cars do have that sudden spin / slide character to them like in rFactor, but it isn't as bad in RACE 07. The force feedback is really good though.

Interesting. I'd given up on it, will have to give it another go now.

you could turn off that "auto detail" thing in the options... see if that helps? I am only running an AMD XP 3000+ by the way
