I know I’m late to the party, but I had hours of fun last night with Google Cardboard. Checked out the demos, including the roller coaster and eager to check out a few YT videos on it – awesome stuff. Bibi and I both tried it and immediately were laughing with disbelief at how incredibly cool it is. The kids loved it and can’t wait to see more of it tonight (almost couldn’t get them to bed for wanting to watch more).
What a fantastic gimmick and bring on Oculus Rift!

Re: Google Cardboard
Only reason I haven't tried cardboard is I'm sure my phone would be really shitty for it. Next phone purchase will take it into consideration. Probably with a GearVR for a better experience.

Re: Google Cardboard
I've never actually tried Cardboard, I guess I should but I've got a Galaxy S6 so will almost certainly get the GearVR once it's released.

Re: Google Cardboard
I have two units. One i keep at work.
My S4's screen density is ok but my mates LG G4 is much nicer to look at thru the goggles.
YouTube 360 videos are good and I love looking at my Photospheres thru Cardboard. I have, well had a dinosaur app for my little man and he freaked out when there was a dirty great big T-Rex infront of him.
It very good but leaves me wanting a higher density screen.
If you want a taste of VR in video games, check out some sims recorded in VR. Its freakin awesome!!!
Love the 98T around Barbagello.
