Don't forget Windows 10 has a reset feature, saves doing a reformat and reinstall.

This is a great tip - it saves time and farting around with boot disks etc. - just click re-install, wait about 30 minutes and you're back up and running again on a fresh windows install. If the virus is still present after a refresh, then you might need to do a full format and install.


I used the "refresh" when my Windows 10 decided to stop letting me use my Start button - a rather common problem with NO SOLUTION available.

Yeah I used to use it a lot back at JB. Very handy. It's what I'll do when I get back. For now when I manage time to get on the computer I just wanna play a couple of games before bed.
