Gents, a guy local wants to get into Zwift (cycling game) and needs a system with a low end i5, 960GPU and 8 gig RAM. (obviously all the other bits you need in the box) Probably get away with a 120G SSD.

Any idea where the cheapest place to go is online?

I use http://staticice.com.au/ and http://www.shopbot.com.au/ to search prices.

Mostly I've been buying from arc.com.au lately but that's just because they're close enough to pickup and avoid shipping costs. Also bought a lot from eyo.com.au in the past.

Be aware 1060's come out on the 19th of this month and have roughly double the performance of a 960. That said, they'll probably be $400ish and a 960 can be had for around $260.

Yeah, it is all about cost. I would go a 750ti (that is what I am using) but the 960 is a similar price from what I have seen.

I tend to order most of my gear from MSY these days if chasing price, but in saying that they are only a 20 minute drive away and if there are any warranty issues to deal with. Not sure I'd shop interstate just to save $50 on a system build if I could buy somewhere local.

As with Shonky, the drive around out weighs the cost differences of parts most times. Store to Store.
