3D Mark 2006 is out,

There has to be Some crazy ass systems to get good fps.

AMD 3000XP 64
1gb RAM
6600GT 128mb


Feels like a really good looking slide show, on some of the tests, its about 1 frame every 5 seconds :)

looks the same (apart from a couple of tests/screens) as the 2005 version?

even so.. i might grab it tonight and have a go. :)

2 - Firefly Forest 9.278 FPS

CPU Tests
1 - Red Valley 0.298 FPS

My computer is quite adequate but I'm not even going to bother with this one with its 600mb size.

wtf 576mb for a benchmark program

LFS runs perfect with 20 cars on the screen that's all I care about :)

That's all that matters. :nod: You soon learn if your game is too heavy for your pc, i think these programs are a bit of a novelty more than anything. Probably good for manufacturers to test new features on.
