Using USB drive to run software from?????
Anyone done it?
I'm considering lending some trial software to a few people
loaded on USB drives.
How robust / corruptable are they?
I've got a small 64meg one I use now and then, it seems OK.
Thoughts?

well in theory it should be fine, considering to windows it is "a harddrive".
as for corruption, i havent had any problem. i use my drive for big cad drawings, just opening the drawings up straight off the drive, so each time it saves its straight onto it.
cant see any problems, but i've only ever used mine on winxp, maybe you may run into problems on older versions. thats all i can think of anyway
