I think that's part of the point of them. It's about the stereotypes as much as anything else. We crap on about rhyming slang like it's some great Australian tradition when in reality we very rarely use it.

Though if it were white Australians doing a series called "How to talk Indians" I'm sure it would be slammed as racist.
