Coopz, all I'm going to say is, if that's your beliefs, then your avatar suits. :D

I remember going through a similar experience in high school when making my final database project.

I use a Mac at work every day. Nothing wrong with them at all. A lot of the opinions about macs are very misguided in my opinion and usually from people that have never used them.

But then again, PCs are cheaper and they have a far greater range of software available (including viruses :D).

Depends what you want a computer to do (and whether you're more interested in how it looks for some people) and how much you're willing to spend. The world is big enough for both types of personal computer to co-exist. Doesn't stop a lot of people on both sides trying to say one is better than the other though.

I'll always be a PC person as I play games and use CAD/3D software. Both of which are crap on Macs. I also like fiddling with my computer and upgrading it. On the other hand, if I were into movie/image editing, wanted something that looked funky and something I powered up and never had to tinker with then I'd get a Mac.
