Some stunning B&W train photos. I expect Nige, Pix and Hurts will have hard ons.

And on the topic of B&W, I have done a little blog post talking about it.

I wonder if I will get hate mail like I did from a strobist in an earlier BLOG post. :)

Vintage images which are brilliant. Especially the Kodachrome ones. Seriously, every time I a Kodachrome image I realise perfection in colour and light. And the bastards don't make it anymore.

Hey - on Aussie Exotics we have a lot of great hobby photographers who love shooting sportscars/motorsport/etc, so for anyone interested in largely automotive-specific photography I've added a board to the site focussing on photography which will have challenges etc on it too.

Feel free to poke around and offer any sageness or ask questions. :)

Anyone know of any good sites or tutorials on manipulating photo's in PS to get some pretty surreal (thinking along the lines of Speed's stuff) final images?

I came across this last week. It's a pretty good place to start.
by the way if you're using PS & not lightroom the contrast should be 100% as he says in the text. Not 25% like it appears in the image.
