Well

What a great contest that was...I love this matchplay stuff, its makes for great fun.

Jack got an early jump on me, going 1 up on the 4th, I got it back...I went 1 ahead, Jack got it back..this happened two more times until we got to the 18th. I was one up and in the rough of the tee...Jack had an approach of around 50ft...he hit the green edge, about 6ft from the pin...I hit mine close - 2 yards i think.

He had to make that put to stay in it...and he did...

Of to Sudden death we went...

Hole 1 - Birdies each...

Hole 2...it all ended, when I chipped in from 34 yards out...

Over 20 holes, a great contest...was sort of a pity it ended like it did...i really enjoyed it...

Well done to Stu, I managed to win it on the last...a bit lucky with a tree top getting in Stu's way plus he got a crappy bounce in the bunker which led to one of those really chitty lies in the sand...
