ah yeah, they werent really sharp edges but i did rush them. KPM brand petey, it easily held up to the power when it had it. Have had the injectors for probably 9 months now with no issues until the other day

Cheers, sounds like good value. Trick to unseize them is just short some 12volts across them :P gives them a jolt and away you go.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

Don't blame you, never really seems worth the risk.

Could of been more costly indeed, good thing it was just the injector.

so sold my f6 and my vn today, Got my track car and my daily, Daily is a 94 Pathfinder with 31" mud tyres on it. Track car is an 88 VL Turbo which has a built motor that should handle 30-40psi, currently on 14 with roughly 250rwkw and it gets very lose very quickly. I have some pictures on my phone but i will get them up here soon, the VL needs a retune and i have a boost controller to be put on too. Hopefully see 300-350rwkw and 10 second passes in the distant future. It has a built 3 speed auto thats fully manualised and has a 3500rpm stall converter, drives surprisingly well just cruising but u put ur foot down its nuts.

Awesome man! As much as people bag the VLs, they're an insanely quick car.

Does it have a cage?

Not yet lol. I'll run it once tuned and if i crack an easy 10 i will look at cage options eg what's suitable to run 9s or 10s and weigh up costs. It still needs work but that's why i bought a daily aswell

Cant remember, but isnt there a rule that if it goes X'time it requires a cage? Or is that just the track/strip you go to.

yeah ANDRA rules are 10.99 needs a cage unless the car is newer than 2008, then its 10.49 i think. Im just not sure if you need more bars in the cage etc from say doing a 10.99 to doing a 9.99, wouldnt want to do a whole new cage when if i already ran a 10 id aim for a 9 lol

From what I remember it's

Pre 08
10.99 - 10.00 needs cage
9.99 - need Shute

Then post 08 is 9.99 - 9.00 needs cage

Could be wrong though, if you can't be fucked getting a cage, bring it over to victoria and run it at heathcote ;)

But for a track beast, it has potential.. after a few passes you would get a feel for it.

yeah probably man, but we just dont have enough track stuff happening to justify a track car, unless its a drift car. And i get paranoid driving it because the fuel pump whines so much its pretty obvious whats going on lol. This is a little video my cousin took yesterday. I am still learning the car so it was a bit jolty and stuff lol, also the trans pressures are high so it clunks alot into gears.
