New car for that Asian guy.

Post by VTRacing »

Finally it's time to upgrade from the Forester XT that served me well over many a recce day.

Now for something that won't see much gravel if I can help it, a Focus ST.

If anyone wants to buy a Forester...VGC. :)

Guy with glasses buys a Focus. Does it have a prescription windscreen?

I'm thinking about a new car at the moment. The RS has done about 187,000 and the next couple of cars on the list are the Focus ST, newer WRX, or BRZ. Congrats on the new car! How's it go?

Nice mate! Enjoy that centre console button fest :D Great cars - no RenaultSport but actually has back doors and back seats that people can see out of. :)

No it's no RenaultSport. But with a 3 year old I needed four doors.

Plus I would literally be disowned if I ever bought a French car. :)

The only quibble with the ST (which I knew before I bought it) is that the turning circle is complete rubbish. It's like Ford have deliberately limited the amount of lock you can wind on, maybe to make sure the muppets driving it don't pull the driveshafts out with full lock / full throttle driving.

I haven't had a proper drive of this thing yet, but it feels nice. Taut, punchy.
