Nice mate. Pick of the mkVs for sure. Body coloured bumpers instead of grey plastic and a little extra shove to boot.

Just watch that the tyres don't go off too fast

Not bad at all..

New GTIs, look on paper to be better then the GTI R the spec'd up car is slower, and heavier.

Really, that's strange. Pretty good reason not to buy in the first place in my opinion. But you've offloaded, so well done.

Do I not recall you having an Elise, what happened there? Did you shunt it or did it shit itself?

The DSG box in sport mode out performed the manual quite sufficiently. I dont know about well done for off loading it because its an auto though. But you are trapped in the past so i get that. Was a ripper car.

Lotus is still going well thanks for asking about my safety and its reliability.

Haze - Lotus is the daily for now though I expect a trip out longford way for another photo shoot some time soon.

Not trapped, do I prefer older tech/things yes, probably 80% of the time. Yep the Golf GTi is and has always been a ripper car.

Sorry mate figured you had offloaded the Lotus and the main reasons to get rid off an Elise is unfortunately what I mentioned :)

Lotus is a ripper car.

Performance wise, the golf crapped all over it but fun factor, the Elise wins easily. And a bigger chick magnet

I think it is the latter, whatever that is. I think Im just not sure what sort of car I want. I need the opposite of the Lotus, not similar.

I'm just jealous!

But was also genuinely curious why they didn't make the cut. Interested to see what you get next.
