what's your shitter book of choice?

Post by w00dsy »

for those of us that enjoy a bit of peace and quiet on the can, lets discuss some good books that suit the little rooms, I am currently reading James Mays 'May On Motors' book. It's a collection of his columns from the Daily Telegraph. It's good because firstly it's James May, and secondly it is a bunch of short stories that can suit a quick crap. Or i can read a few if things aren't going so well down below. Auto Action gets a go on wednesdays.

I don't read. When I go I'm all business.
- When trouble arises and things look bad, there is always one individual who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that individual is crazy.
- If youre paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many pancakes fit in a doghouse? None! Icecream doesn't have bones!!!

used to be PC Powerplay. I dont think I have read on the shitter since.

I certainly dont e-shit. Do you really sit on the shitter with your phones? Lets assume you wash your hands for a moment. So you take a dump while playing on your phone, put the phone down to wipe your arse, wash your hands and then leave said toilet and continue to take calls on your phone. If you are finding there isnt enough hours in the day for you, Id suggest not washing your hands. Seems like it is time wasted anyway :D At best I hope you blue tooth 24/7. :tilt:

Nowadays I just take the iPhone and catch up on emails.

I recall back years ago it was quite a social barrier to my client mentioning I'd just responded to them whilst evicting a particularly nasty number two, but nowadays it's pretty common, if not expected!

AMCN fortnightly

Hells Highway - good read about PMC in iraq.

My book shelf is strategically placed about 3 feet from the door to my thunderbox. So you can grab what you like on the way in.

Funny you should bring up this topic, I was going to start one the other day, but didn't get around to it. A photography book and lately, browsing the net on the iPhone.

Cool. Season two is pretty different to season one but I'm still liking it.
