iBooks - very slick book and pdf reader
Epicurious - Recipes and stuff if you're in to cooking.
Uzu - amazing by useless physics demo with swirly fireworky things.

BBC news app - Speaks for itself
Teamviewer - If you have parents who know nuthin about computers you can run their PC from this app and sort out those 'something popped up and I don't know what it means' questions :)

would it really help if you lost your phone do you think??? I mean, even if you knew where it was, by the time you got there it may have moved. And what are you meant to do, go knocking on doors, or if its in a public place, accusing everyone of stealing your phone and demanding it? Unless i'm missing something?

Yep, it works Dex. A friend in Brisbane left his phone in a taxi and got it back by pushing an alert to it. Apparently the cabbie nearly shit his pants. :)

Another ripper if you have jail broken your phone. Veency.

Control the phone from a VNC window. I suspect the nerds will already have worked this one out.

Can you get Darth Vader? I love how on my tomtom he tells me to do a u-turn and then finds my "lack of faith disturbing". :D

I use this http://www.tapatalk.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for some other forums I frequent. It's the best forum app going for the iPhone imho.
There is a free version for just viewing forums but you can't do anything else like reply, quote or view pics in full screen with it.
The full version is $3.99 on iTunes if you want full functionality just like using your web browser. Which if your like me, a forum junkie on the run is a good tool to have.

Admins, any chance ARSE can be added to this app?

It has been asked a few times Flinty. It probably wont because it means extra work for the forum fairy, and if he is ever unavailable, I wont have the smarts to do it myself.

Ah OK, sorry I didn't realise it had come up before.
What xtra work is required? I guess installing the plug-in also requires updating it as they update the client?
But is that the only thing?

It is more about forums software updates. The more you customise the forums, the more work is involved in updating for security patches etc etc. I agree it would be a nice thing to have, but I just don't want to lumber Kev with more work. And if we belt the Poms in the Ashes, he might crack it and tell us to shove our tech support. :)

Ah, see what you mean & no worries.
Still worthy of posting here as it's a good app that a lot of forums have enabled.
